Hinges

Hinges are the hardware used to attach a door to its frame, and are the pivot point for opening and closing the door. Whether you are replacing an old door or hanging a new one, hinges are an important part of the structure.

butt hinges

Cabinet butt hinges consist of two metal leaves centered on a pin and barrel. They can be mounted on abutting surfaces: a door frame or cabinet wall, and the cabinet door itself. Butt hinges may be mortised or recessed to be flush in both surfaces.

spring loaded

A spring hinge, also known as spring loaded hinges, self-closing hinges, and door closing hinges, are hinges fitted with a spring, automatically closing the door from an opened position. Spring hinges are adjustable.

concealed hinges

A concealed hinge is one that lays flush within the door to mask the hinges location. The purpose of the concealed hinge (aka invisible hinge) is to provide a smooth surface to the outer perimeter of the door

strap hinges

strap hinges are used in commercial as well as consumer applications. Kitchen cabinets, for example, may feature strap hinges, allowing them to open and close. Doors — both interior and exterior doors — also use strap hinges.

gate hinges

Full size garden gates generally can use a 4-1/2″ ball-bearing hinge. Over 48″ wide, though, a gate should use a strap hinge and pintle set for the added stoutness of the hardware.

ball-bearing hinges

A Ball-Bearing Hinge is a hinge equipped with ball bearings to reduce friction. They are ideal for any interior door. If you have any issues with your doors squeaking today, our ball bearing hinges are sure to solve that problem. Hinges sold in pairs unless otherwise indicated
